| Currently stuck in my head: "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown"
Currenlty feeling: helter skelter-ish
Life is SO insane right now! David and Lisa opens two weeks from yesterday, Songs for a New World rehearsals were yesterday (call backs are tomorrow). If I have a call back (fingers crossed)I have to do it RIGHT before I leave to do the Rep Project Youth Voices thing, which I have to memorize for tonight because Michelle isn't going to be there, so Nicole (our director) was like, hey steph, I know you're swamped with other things, but would you mind filling in for Michelle? Thanks, babe. So yeah. Memorization and homework and rehearsal and such...it's crazy...plus the stress of wondering about Songs. hmph...oh well...as Collin was just saying "it will all be resolved on friday" when the cast list goes up. Okay. Juat found out I'm needed for some scenes. Ciao, belles. | | |
| Hmmmmm...just updating for the sake of well, updating. Good news:FINALLY finished the Trigun series...amazing, please EVERYONE watch it. R.I.P., N.D.W., my darling. Everyone should see it. Also good news, I got a B- on my Pre Calc H final, which passes me in the class. more later. ciao. | | |
| Woo! 657 days of xanga! So ok, Imp, this is me updating. Ta daaa!!! So in any case, my UCLA audition is exactly one week from today...so uh...that means I'm screwed. In essence. I'm so freaking scared about it...EVERYONE auditions for that school....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Oh well...we shall see. It's from 2:30-8:00pm...so this'll be really fun. Haha. Sarcasm font needed. Something really cool, however, is that my mom was really great on the idea of Montecito Sequoya this summer. YESSSS...now all I have to do is get accepted/hired. I can see it now...Chris and James scaring little kids, and me saying, "Don't do that!" and laughing about it hysterically. Yes, that would be incredibly fun. Computer still broken, but many thanks to Jon for helping repair it! :) So I really enjoy the quotes on the top of my xanga right now...I definitely love them. And that movie...I REALLY want to see The Merchant of Venice...it should be coming out in the next couple of weeks (which is way freakin' cool). Sorry that this entry is so incredibly pointless, guys. It was the best I could do in a few short moments. In any case, come and see the Musical theatre revue at the SDSU Don Powell theatre on friday (yes, THIS friday) night. Cheer us on. Oh yeah...and wish all of us awesome David and Lisa kids luck...it'll be interesting playing Collin's mom...haha I'm having fun already! It's gonna be such a great show. Okay, that's about it here...holla back if you hate finals. *MUAH!* | | |
| Hey everyone! Just read Steve-O's post and decided that writing a review of this last year would be way cool (yay!! Lame slang!) So...let's get this party started in here.
Let's kick it off w/ the personal moments (keep in mind that there are FAR too many awesome memories from this year...here are a few): Eating the $20 Crown Jewel at Moo Time w/ Collin, Sabrina, Charles, and Nicolle...and DOMINATING, looking at the cast list for Guys and Dolls for the first time (dear God, AMAZING), Comic-Con, Grease (haha looking at the Grease cast list for the first time), SSP, driving around Malibu yelling "BONOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!", jumping up and down on Kate's humongoid trampoline, staring at jeremy's gorgeous older brother (haha...put that one on there just to piss jer off), discovering my favorite movie of all time and watching it 7 times in a month, the hilarious sleepovers at Lauren's (our brief obsession w/ Kill Bill vol. 1&2), my brother telling me how proud he is of me after a Grease performance, the few moments where I actually understand what the hell Mrs. Kracht is teaching, the great moments in CoSA, seeing Aly as a tree in Wizard, D&D, accidentally calling Tony "master" onstage, accidentally telling Collin that he was "very unmale" instead of "unlame" online, learning how to drive con Roberto, Seeing Dane Cook AND Stephen Lynch AND Mitch Hedberg (yesssss), being hired at my first job, then months later happilly realizing that I never have to go back there again, finally carving my name into the theatre (and the last rehearsal in there)...like I said...there are so many moments. I love all of you.
OKAY! Songs that made this year what it was: "Yeah" (U-R-Sher...lol), "Nightswimming" (R.E.M.), "There's Always Someone Cooler Than You" (Ben Folds), "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" (The Darkness), "Toxic" (Britney Spears), "Mai A'Hei" (O-Zone), "As Cool As My Dad Was" (CoSA Instrumental...muahahahahaha), "Bushel and a Peck" (Frank Loesser, "Me and Julio Down by the School Yard" (Paul Simon), "We Go Together" (Warren Casey)...
I'll be back to update this later...until then, ~me
